Documentary by Argyris Dinopoulos on the firefighting aircraft. When this documentary was filmed (1993) the firefighting aircraft still used old «piston» engines. The work of the pilots and mechanics was hard and the flights — in some cases — dangerous. The protagonists in the battle against fire described the conditions under which they operated with the «first generations» of firefighting aircraft.

This documentary was filmed for the series «Στον δρόμο», which Argyris Dinopoulos presented on Antenna in 1997. Directors of the programme: Michalis Galanakis and Dimitris Maroudas. For a week the programme's team lived with the laid-off workers of the AZEL factory in Piraeus. The documentary records the life of the unemployed and their efforts to get the factory running again. The social, psychological and political dimensions of unemployment. The AZEL factory was one of the traditional industrial plants of Piraeus. Its closure — in the mid-1990s — marked the definitive deindustrialisation of the area.

This report is from the documentary filmed for the series «Στον δρόμο». It concerns the fertiliser factory at Drapetsona. It was filmed in 1997, as the deindustrialisation of Piraeus was being completed. The alibi for the factory's closure was protection of the environment and the redevelopment of the coastal front from Drapetsona to Keratsini and Perama. None of it happened. The factories closed and the great party of the 1990s (stock exchanges and the rest) went on. A prophetic documentary. Director: Michalis Galanakis. Assistant director: Giannis Maroudas.

This video is the last journalistic work (August 2007) of Argyris Dinopoulos before he was elected to parliament. He spent four days with the members of the Nostos therapeutic community (of KETHEA) at Skafidia in Ilia. He recorded — with their absolute consent — the struggle they make to come off drugs. The documentary «Ο δρόμος της επιστροφής» — The Road Back — was broadcast by NET in 2008.
